South Seas offers three outdoor ceremony locations including; Sunset Pointe, Sunset Pointe – The Vow, and Bayview Lawn. Depending on your guests count, you can choose between a beachfront ceremony, a lawn overlooking the beach, or a golf course that features views of the gulf.
The resort also has three reception areas: Bayview Lawn, Sunset Luau, and The Overlook. Each space accommodates different size groups and gives you the options to have a reception right on the beach, on the lawn, or in a more secluded area surrounded by palm trees.

During Lily and Alex’s engagement session (which was also at the South Seas Resort!) we incorporated golfing and golf carts into their photos. Adding those details into their wedding day made sense, but they were intentional about not overdoing it with golf-themed details.
They included a custom “The Bucks” golf flag and a “Let’s Par-Tee” golf ball escort display. We also used a golf cart while photographing portraits around the property.
These details worked together perfectly without overtaking the wedding with a golf theme. You don’t have to build your entire wedding design around your hobbies or interest, but incorporating a few thoughtful details is the perfect way to create a personal wedding.

Lily and Alex’s color choices also worked beautifully with this Florida wedding venue. They chose a soft palette of blues, whites and greens, which looked so incredible with the coastal atmosphere of a South Seas Resort Wedding.
Lily also included lilies in her floral design which created a sweet connection to her name. It was a small detail, but a really cute, personal one to add to her floral design.
Their wedding ceremony took place on the lawn overlooking the water, followed by a tented reception. If you’re planning a South Florida wedding, we highly recommend a tented reception and covered cocktail hour. You can still enjoy the Island weather without being completely dependent on the forecast.
