Hannah and Mass’s wedding at Artifact Events in Chicago was one of those days you don’t just photograph, you genuinely feel. Set in the heart of Chicago’s Ravenswood neighborhood on a warm September afternoon, their wedding was filled with joy, emotional moments, incredible energy, and the kind of love that makes documenting weddings such a privilege.
From the moment we arrived at Artifact Events to the final dance of the night, every part of the day felt intentional and deeply personal. Between the stunning florals, incredible food, packed dance floor, and a couple who were completely themselves, this Artifact Events Chicago wedding was unforgettable from beginning to end. We’re so grateful we had the opportunity to capture it all through both photo and film.
The Venue | Artifact Events Chicago

If you’re searching for a Chicago wedding venue with character, warmth, and incredible architecture, Artifact Events is truly one of the most unique spaces in the city.
Located at 4325 N Ravenswood Ave in Chicago’s historic Ravenswood neighborhood, Artifact Events is housed inside beautifully restored factory buildings over 100 years old. The venue blends industrial details with romantic textures in a way that feels elevated without trying too hard.
As a Chicago wedding photography and videography team, we always get excited when we see Artifact Events on a wedding timeline. The natural light throughout the venue is incredible, especially during late afternoon portraits and golden hour in the Courtyard. Between the exposed brick, soaring timber beams, steel windows, and historic details, every corner feels intentionally designed for beautiful imagery.
The venue is divided into two distinct spaces: the North Atrium and the South Loft.
The North Atrium features dramatic multi-story ceilings, exposed industrial architecture, and a catwalk that creates an unforgettable ceremony backdrop and entrance. It feels open, airy, and cinematic, especially for larger celebrations.
The South Loft offers a warmer and more intimate atmosphere with wood floors, exposed brick, and softer lighting throughout the space. It’s perfect for couples wanting a romantic industrial feel without losing the charm of the historic architecture.
Then there’s the Courtyard, which is honestly one of our favorite ceremony locations for a Chicago wedding. The antique stone columns, open-air setting, and natural textures make the space feel effortlessly beautiful. Hannah and Mass planned their ceremony here, and the lighting that evening was absolutely perfect for portraits immediately afterward.
One thing we especially love as photographers and videographers is how well the venue flows throughout the day. There are beautiful portrait locations within just a few steps of each other, which means couples can spend less time away from guests while still getting an incredible variety of images and footage.
For couples drawn to industrial wedding venues in Chicago with authentic character and timeless design, Artifact Events is truly hard to beat.
The Wedding Details

A wedding is only as strong as the team behind it, and Hannah and Mass brought together an incredible group of vendors for their day.
The florals by Stemming From Love were lush, romantic, and full of texture, complementing the industrial setting beautifully. AW Artistry handled hair and makeup, and Hannah looked stunning from the very first moment of the morning. Toni Patisserie created a cake that was almost too beautiful to cut, while Cocina Fusion delivered food guests continued talking about all night long.
DJ Style Matters kept the dance floor packed from start to finish, and the energy never slowed down. Every vendor brought something special to the celebration, and it all came together seamlessly throughout the day.
