Kitty and Clayton decided to take their engagement photos at the Ringling Museum of Art in Sarasota Florida and these might just be my favorite pictures ever!
No matter how many times we visit the Ringling Museum, each visit feels enchanting. For those unfamiliar with this gem, it originally opened in 1927 as a tribute to the remarkable lives of John and Mable Ringling, famous for their involvement with the Ringling Brothers, Barnum and Bailey Circus. The museum, located on a sprawling estate in Sarasota, features beautiful gardens, a historic mansion, and an impressive art collection that spans centuries.
Today, it serves not only as an art museum but also as a premier destination wedding venue in Southwest Florida. The picturesque courtyard and stunning waterfront views provide an unforgettable backdrop for any event. If you find yourself in Sarasota, make sure to visit this cultural treasure. And if you're engaged and searching for a unique and beautiful venue, the Ringling Museum ( and hiring us to take your photos!) is definitely worth it.
Keep in mind you do need a photo permit to shoot here ($300 including tax) and you can only shoot at 10 am or 12 pm in their outdoor area. Photography inside the museum is strictly prohibited for engagement sessions.
